What is Dual Layer Construction?
On the Pinnacle Coastal Power Tip the blank used to make this rod has a
super-sensitive, high density graphite composite core to alert you to any
bite. Outside, a surrounding shield of longitudinal glass fibers protects
the graphite inner core and forms the muscle of this rod. Near the tip, the
outer layer extends to create a solid, unbreakable section of fiberglass.
