This is a traditional open face, non level wined reel. Use your thumb instead. These reels are mainly used for bottom fishing and catfish fisherman especially seem to like the durability and performance of this particular reel. In saltwater this reel is also good for 20-50 pound fish. And good for rock cod reel on the west coast.
